Who operates this website
L.A. Kirk is the reader-facing author name. This website is operated by Moonlight and Mythos Media LLC, based in Ohio, USA. For privacy questions or requests, contact author@lakirk.com.
Browsing the website
This website provides book and author information, links to other websites, and an optional newsletter signup. It has no reader accounts, contact-message form, or direct checkout. Its own code does not add advertising pixels, social-media embeds, or visitor-analytics scripts. Fonts and cover images are served with the site.
Hosting and connection information
Hostinger hosts the website and provides delivery and security services. Its servers log technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or device information, and response details. This information supports delivery, security, troubleshooting, and hosting statistics. The selected origin server is in Massachusetts, USA, with hosting backups in Phoenix, USA. Content delivery and other provider processing can involve other locations. See Hostinger’s privacy information.
If you email us
If you send an email, your address, message, and any details you include are handled through Zoho to receive and respond to your inquiry. Opening an email link alone does not send a message. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your question. See Zoho’s privacy information.
Email newsletters
L.A. Kirk currently uses Kit for newsletters. The signup form asks for your email address for book news and release updates. Opening it loads Kit’s form software; submitting it sends your address directly to Kit. Signup uses a confirmation email. Follow its confirmation link to complete your subscription.
Kit processes subscription and delivery information and may use cookies to recognize a subscription. Newsletter messages can use Kit’s open and link-click tracking to report engagement. Email software and privacy settings can affect those reports. The website form has no optional analytics integration configured. Kit explains subscriber-data processing in its Data Processing Addendum; its Privacy Policy covers other service interactions.
You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter. Unsubscribing stops future subscribed mail; it is not the same as deleting all past subscription, consent, delivery, or suppression records. For a deletion request, email author@lakirk.com.
Retention and service providers
Correspondence and newsletter records can remain in their respective services until deleted; there is no single automatic deletion period for all website-related information. Hosting logs and backups follow the provider’s retention and rotation arrangements. Information may need to be retained to respond to inquiries, administer subscriptions and opt-outs, protect the service, or meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us about a particular record or a deletion request.
Hostinger, Kit, and Zoho process information to provide their services, with supporting service providers as described in their published information. Processing may take place in the United States or other countries. The provider links above describe their processing and transfer arrangements; they do not replace this notice.
Your choices and requests
Newsletter signup and emailing us are optional. You can browse the books without opening the signup form. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection, or to withdraw consent. Send requests to author@lakirk.com; we may need information to verify a request. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to you and the processing involved. You may also have a right to contact your local data-protection authority.
Other websites
Retailer, book-discovery, social-media, and separate author-site links take you to services with their own privacy practices. This website does not receive your payment details or process your purchases there. Lili Black has a separate author website and newsletter signup.
Children’s information
This romance-author website is not directed to children under 13 and does not ask for birthdates. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact author@lakirk.com so the information can be addressed.
